Robert Edward Lee, a devoted family man and respected member of the Crossville community, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16th, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on November 1st, 1937, in Hollywood, California, Robert's life was a tapestry of service, dedication, and love. A proud veteran, Robert served his country with honor in the United States Navy. His time in the military instilled in him a lifelong passion for reading military books. After his service, he embarked on a successful career as a machinist, where his meticulous craftsmanship and dedication were admired by colleagues and friends. Robert was a man of varied interests. He enjoyed bowling and fishing with his friends, and also cherished his travels, embracing the opportunity to explore and create lasting memories with loved ones. Family was at the heart of Robert's life. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Joyce Lee, whose unwavering support was the cornerstone of their enduring partnership. He is survived by his children, Brent Lee (Mary), Sherri Benoit, and Randy Lee (Tricia), who will always cherish the lessons and values he imparted. Robert's legacy continues through his grandchildren, Corey Benoit, Breanna Courtney, Kayla Lee, Amanda Guerro, and Christina Lee, and his great-grandchildren, Conner Guerro, Avery Guerro, Alex Courtney, McKenzie Courtney, and Kamryn Benoit, all of whom brought immense joy to his later years. He also leaves behind his siblings, sister Bonnie Brooks, and brothers Gary Lee and Don Lee. He is predeceased by his parents, Robert Lewis Lee and Mary Lee, and his brother, Ron Lee. Burial will be held at Green Acres Memory Gardens in Crossville, TN, on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Arrangements are being handled with care by Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
