Billy Thomas Sherrill

Billy Thomas Sherrill, age 27, of Knoxville, TN, passed away at his home on March 30, 2023. He was born on February 12, 1996, in Crossville, TN, son of Robert Thomas Sherrill and Robin Lee Housley. Billy worked as a veterinarian tech and as a waiter. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Seattle Seahawks. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Rosa Sherrill and Robin and Chris Housley; sisters, Kim Sherrill and Nicole Ranson; aunts, Angie Kilby, Patricia Nobles, and Melissa Whittaker; uncles, Walker Kilby and Hoss Kilby: cousin, Jackie Miller; grandmother, Martha Sherrill; and grandfather, Clay Kilby; Rosa’s children, Jeremiah Wightman, Jessica Wightman, and Joshua Wightman. Billy is preceded in death by his grandfather, Earl Sherrill; grandmother, Della Kilby; and aunt, Debbie Dunn. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Bilbrey Funeral Home followed by burial at Linary Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Bilbrey Funeral Home to help cover funeral expenses.
