Wilfred Brian Richie

Wilfred B. Richie of Crossville, TN, passed away at his home on Friday, November 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Torquay, England, Wilfred grew up in Carney's Point, NJ. He proudly served in the United States Airforce as an aircraft mechanic in Charleston, SC. Following his military service, he worked as an electrical engineer for Monsanto in Bridgeport, NJ. In 1985, Wilfred, along with his wife, Edna and daughter, Nancy, moved to Florida. They spent 20 wonderful years there before relocating to Crossville, TN, in 2006. Wilfred had a passion for fishing and woodturning, and he was exceptionally talented, creating intricate and beautiful pieces. Wilfred was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Edna Richie. He is survived by his children: Michael Richie, Mary Anne Fithian (Gary), and Nancy Fanning (Greg); and his grandchildren: Jaratt Bay, Anthony Bay, Bradley Fanning, and Kaitlin Fanning. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Caris Healthcare Hospice in Crossville, TN. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are being handled by Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
