Wayne Luther Griffin

Wayne Luther Griffin, age 75, of Crossville, TN, passed away on May 18, 2022, at Cumberland Medical Center. He was born on April 27, 1947, in Crossville, TN, son of the late Luther Griffin and Zola Mae (Webber) Griffin. Wayne worked as a night watchman at Crossville Hardwood. He is survived by his wife, Carol Griffin; children, Jeff Griffin, Scott Griffin (Jane) Steve Gilpin (Laura), Cyndi Livesay (Mike), and Willie Akins; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, Carl Griffin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Scott Akins; and sister Marietta Pratt. Funeral Services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Monday, May 23, 2022, at 1:00 PM with Terry Frazier officiating. Burial to follow at Pomona Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
