Virginia Alsip

Virginia (Jenny) Blankenship Alsip - 3/30/1942 - 12/26/2022 Virginia Blankenship Alsip, age 80, of Crossville, TN, passed while sleeping peacefully at Park West hospital in Knoxville from complications of a blood disorder. She was preceded in death by her loving Husband, James Alsip, Parents, Jessie and Christean, Brother Charles, and Sister, Madeline. She is survived by daughters, Joyce Bruno (Ralph Bruno) and Janet Alsip (Mike Mixon); grandsons, James Bodie Alsip, and Nick Bruno; and brother, Richard Blankenship. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Born in Jellico, TN, Virginia was a faithful member at Central Baptist Church in Crossville, TN, and enjoyed travelling on numerous missionary trips. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and cooking and entertaining for Family and friends. Arrangements and care are provided by Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
