Funeral services for Thurman Shepherd Jr., age 80, of Crossville, TN, who passed away on November 22, 2022 at Cumberland Medical Center, will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 in the Chapel at Bilbrey Funeral Home at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service. Mr. Shepherd was born on July 23, 1942, in Wilder, TN, son of the late Thurman Shepherd Sr. and Bonnie (Winningham) Shepherd. Thurman worked as a Laborer and attended the Simple Life Church. He is survived by his children - Billy Shepherd, Charlotte Braddam Ayers (Billy), Mike Shepherd (Debbie), Jonnie Sue Shepherd, Cathy Shepherd; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings - Hancel Shepherd, Claudine Elbely, Shirley Kerley, Carlene Warner, and Glenda Warner. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife – Gertie Marie Shepherd; second wife – Karen Sue Shepherd; son - Bobby Shepherd; siblings - Gearldine Hargis, Bonnie Jean Hawn, Billy Ray Shepherd, Ilene Shepherd.
