Thomas Edison Baker

Thomas Edison Baker, age 88, of Crossville, TN, passed away at his home on July 23, 2023. Mr. Baker was born on November 12, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, son of the late Thomas Orville Baker and Mary Elizabeth (Wildrige) Baker. Tom served others in many ways throughout his life. He served in the United States Army, worked as a registered nurse, and was a volunteer EMT. He was a local business owner and helped very many people through his businesses. Most importantly he served by spending his life trying to point others towards Jesus in a multitude of ways. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Carole Baker; son, Noah Baker; and grandchildren, Thomas Baker, Joseph Baker, and Ariel Baker. In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his sister, Sally Hite. Funeral Service will be held at Central Baptist Church on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Crossville City Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the church from 11:30 to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
