Sumie French

A Memorial Visitation for Sumie French, age 91, of Crossville, TN, who passed away on June 3, 2023, will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Mrs. French was born on July 18, 1931, in Japan, daughter of the late Usaburo Shimada and Shizu Shimada of Japan. Sumie was a Homemaker. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Hamilton and Carla French; son, Bobby French: grandchildren, Riley Hamilton and Maggie Hamilton; sister, Namie Ishihara; and brother, Ken Shimada. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Pascal French. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Cumberland County. Arrangements and Care provided by Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
