Stephen Bittle Taylor

GSgt Stephen Bittle Taylor, age 66, of Crossville, TN, passed away in his home on June 13, 2024. Steve was a career US Marine, enlisting in 1982. After his retirement from the USMC, he became an educator. He found a passion for teaching and mentoring students in the Galveston, TX area for the next 17 years. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Gene Tayor and a sister, Amanda; nephew, Timothy Taylor; and grandparents, Homer Bittle Dempsey and Roma A. Dempsey. He is survived by his son, Dustin Bittle Taylor of Stafford, TX; grandson Presley Bittle Taylor of New Point Beach, CA; his soulmate, Laine; his mother, Betty Taylor; sisters, Debbie and Tara; a brother, Scott; nieces, Samantha, Jordan, and Renee; nephew, Sean; and many loving aunts uncles and cousins. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
