Shirley May Young

Shirley May Young, age 94, of Crossville, Tennessee passed away on November 21, 2022, in Jamestown, Tennessee. Mrs. Young was born on April 18, 1928, in Albany, New York, daughter of the late William M. Bogardus and Katherine (Kacley) Bogardus. Shirley retired from Winthrop Sterling as a Pharmaceutical Technician 33 years ago and attended the “Dorton Methodist Church”, Crossville TN. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Hiltsley; sons, Mark Young (Sonja) and Neil Young (Sharon); and 4 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Young; and brothers, William Bogardus and Leonard Bogardus. A Visitation Service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Dorton Methodist Church, Crossville TN from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a private burial to follow at Green Acres Memory Gardens, Crossville TN.
