Shirley Ann Wilson Wallace went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 10, 2024. She lived in Crossville, Tennessee for many years. At the time of her death, Shirley lived in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Joe K. Wallace, Sr.; son, Jeff Wallace; parents Joe and Lillie Mae Wilson; siblings, Mary Jo (Don) Randolph, Ava Sue Whited, Kenneth Wilson, and Karen Wilson. She is survived by her son, Rev. Jerry K. Wallace (Jamie); stepson, Dr. Ken Wallace (Nancy); stepdaughter, Ann Lamon (Howard), grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Faye Bearden (Chuck); several nieces and nephews; stepmother, Faye Wilson; and stepsister, Kim Clark (Greg). Additionally, she is survived by special friends who are like family, Dr. Bobby and Cindy Mooney and the Mooney Family, JP and Melanie Padilla, Debbie and Bob Wilson, Tammy and Teddy Aytes, Colleen and John Beam, and Janelle Goss, Dear Friends at Rutland Place Senior Community and Karen Couch Tucker. In October 2023, Shirley celebrated her 48th year of sobriety. She was instrumental in starting one of the first Narcotics Anonymous Groups in Tennessee. She was known for sharing her Recovery Testimony all over the Southeast and beyond. She cared deeply for all people, especially for those who struggled with addiction. She was always ready to tell others of God’s Grace and healing. Visitation will be at the First Methodist Church in Crossville, Tennessee on Thursday, March 14 from 12-2pm. The Funeral will be at the First Methodist Church at 2pm with the Rev. Dr. Louis Davis, Rev. Jerry Mayo and Rev. Jerry K. Wallace officiating. Graveside services will be in the Green Acres Cemetery in Crossville, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
