Samuel "Sam" Joe Sherrill

Samuel "Sam" Joe Sherrill, age 67, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away on September 6, 2022, at Cumberland Medical Center. He was born on August 17, 1955, in Crossville, Tennessee, son of the late Bradley Sherrill and Lillie (Bohannon) Sherrill. Sam worked at the Parks & Recreation facility in Crossville and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Angela Sherrill; siblings, Emily Bryant, Glenda Pfaff, and John Henry Sherrill; mother-in-law, Billie Jean Wilson; brother-in-law, Dale Wilson (Cindy); sisters-in-law, Diane Taylor and Brenda Marlow (George); and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Special Friends. In addition to his parents, Sam is preceded in death by his brothers, Andrew Sherrill, Clinton Sherrill, Doyle Sherrill, and Donnie Sherrill; and sisters, Rita Bell Thompson and Gretta Lou Sherrill. Funeral Services were held at Cornerstone Baptist Church on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 1:00 PM with Bro. Mike Kerley officiating. Burial followed at Bakers Chapel Cemetery. Family received friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service. Arrangements and Care provided by Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
