Samuel Byron Graham was born in Crossville on December 6, 1944, and went home to be with his Lord on September 5, 2022, at the age of 77. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Elizabeth (Hinch) Graham; June (Tate) Graham, his wife of 50 years; brothers Wayne and Vance Graham; son-in-law Joe Patton; brothers-in-law Paul Reed, Harvey Lewis, and Ted, Eugene, and Leonard Tate. He is survived by his daughters: Shawnda (Donnie) Ernst, Misty (Ben) Graham-Stapleton, and Monica Patton; grandchildren: Khirey and Rory Stapleton and Emily and Nicholas Ernst; adopted daughter Becky (Beau) Wright; adopted grandchildren Kacie and Maddox Wright; sisters Betty Ann Threet, Paulette Reed, Sola (Leslie) Goss, and Judy Graham Swallows; brother Jerry (Teresa) Graham; brother-in-law Clarence (Betty) Tate; sisters-in-law Gwen Lewis, Sue Graham, and Sandy Graham; special friend Laurie Paulsen; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Sam was loved by many family and friends and was a life long member of Pomona Methodist Church. He served in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War. Funeral Services were held at Pomona United Methodist Church on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Burial followed at Pomona Cemetery. Family received friends on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday, September 9, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the service.
