Ruby Mae Cunningham

Ruby Mae Cunningham, age 94, of Sparta, TN, passed away on July 30, 2023, at NHC HealthCare in Cookeville, TN. Mrs. Cunningham was born on August 3, 1928, in Scott County, TN, daughter of the late Marion Delus Newport and Ida Mae (Jeffers)Newport. Ruby worked in a factory. She is survived by son in law, Carl Sexton, Sr.; grandsons, Carl Eugene Sexton, Jr., Michael Douglas Sexton, and Timothy Wayne Sexton; granddaughter, Sherry Lee Smith; great grandchildren; Scotty Beaty, Jessica Sexton, and Tim Sexton, Jr.; and great, great grandchild - Millie Mofield. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Buster Propes; second husband, Bill Cunningham; and daughter, Judy Sexton. Funeral Services will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 1:00 PM followed by burial at Roane Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
