Rosie Mae Kilby

Rosie Mae Kilby, age 93, of Crossville, TN, passed away at Cumberland Medical Center on January 21, 2024. Mrs. Kilby was born on July 8, 1930, in Fentress County, TN, daughter of the late Wheeler Hicks and Edna (Human) Hicks. Rosie was a self-employed cleaning lady. Momma loved all of us with all of her heart and worked hard to get us what we needed. She was always there when we needed her and never turned us down when we needed help. She loved working out in her flowers and in the yard. She always said she would rather be outside. She loved sewing, we have beautiful homemade quilts she made for us. No one will ever take her place. She is now happy and in Heaven. Now she can walk and is not hurting anymore. No more pain, no more worry. We will always love you and miss you. She is survived by her daughters, Mildred Schubert (Joe), Noable Hill, Angela Kilby, and Lisa Kilby; son, Donnie Kilby; grandchildren, Carrie Schubert, Jennifer Schubert, Lori Barnes, Missy Brown, Sarah Hill, and Katie Hill; and brothers, Gary Hicks, and Cletis Hicks. In addition to her parents, Rosie is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Kilby; grandchildren, Jason Schubert and LeeAnn Schubert; great granddaughter, Brittany Schubert; sister, Nellie Phillips, and Pansy Winters; and brother, Gene Hicks. Graveside services will be held at Green Acres Memory Gardens on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Arrangements and Care provided by Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
