Bob Keith Mitchell

Robert Keith Mitchell. Husband. Father. Pawpaw. These are only some of the words that describe Bob, but he was so much more. Retired Air Force Man. Korean War & Vietnam Veteran. Diamond Carnival Cruise Member.

Bob was born in Cambria, Iowa where he grew up before joining the military. Bob served in the Air Force for 28 years before retiring as a Senior Master Sargent. He then attended vocational school for air conditioning, refrigeration, and masonry. Bob was able to retire at the age of 46. During retirement, he spent much of his time cruising with his wife of 71 years, crocheting, completing word puzzles, and snacking on M&Ms. Bob lived to be 92 years old.

He is survived by his wife - Jeanette Mitchell; his sons - Glenn Mitchell (Gail), Dennis Mitchell (Cynthia), and David Mitchell (Diane); his grandchildren - Justin Mitchell, Jennifer Mitchell, Brett Mitchell, Jessica Mitchell, Haley Mitchell, Shawn Mitchell, and Dillon Mitchell. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Friday, December 2, 2022. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memory Gardens in Crossville, TN.
