Richard Lee Kimberling, age 80, of Crossville, TN, passed away at Good Samaritans Society of Crossville on April 27, 2024. Mr. Kimberling was born on March 6, 1944, in Chicago, IL, son of the late Lester Leon Kimberling and Jenevia Jane (Barham) Kimberling. Richard was a branch manager for the Federal Government. He was an admirable and multi-talented man, trustworthy and respected by others. He donated his time and engineering skills to numerous church building projects. As a family man, he prioritized and made sacrifices for his loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Courtenay Kimberling; son, Tim Kimberling (Debbie); daughter, Jeneva Clark (Jonathan); grandchildren, Brittany Price, M. C. Clark and Granite Clark and 5 great grandchildren; brother, Robert Lee Kimberling; and sister, Phyllis Darlene Metcalf. In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his previous wife, Clara Kimberling; daughter, Maureen Christi Kimberling; brother, Lester Leon Kimberling, Jr. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, May 9, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 7619 Blue Springs Rd., Cleveland, TN 37311. The visitation will be at 1:00 P.M. and the service will be at 2:00 P.M. (eastern time).
