Richard Lee Hoffman

Richard Lee Hoffman Sr., age 83, of Crossville, TN, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2024. Richard was born on April 17th, 1940, in Tiffin Ohio, and was the son of the late George Hoffman and Alice (Shigley) Hoffman. He had many siblings, brothers being George, Joe, Michael, James and with sisters being Carol, Rebecca, Barbara, and Bonnie. Richard grew up and met Donna Rae Martin, whom he so deeply loved and wed. Their union blessed them with 3 handsome sons, Richard Lee Jr, Scott Edward, and Eric Steven Hoffman. While sometimes working 3 jobs at a time to provide for his family, he proved to be a jack of all trades. His adventurous spirit led him to be a truck driver, where he had the opportunity to see many extraordinary places, often taking his son, Scott, with him. Countless journeys later, he settled down with Donna in Florida until her passing in 2019. In addition to his wife and parents, Richard is preceded in death by his eldest son, Richard Lee Hoffman, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family request you consider donations be made to https://www.als.org/.
