Olney Ulysses Rose

Olney Ulysses Rose, age 90, of Crossville, TN, passed away on August 11, 2022, at WyndRidge Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born on December 19, 1931, in Crab Orchard, TN, son of the late Roy Lee Rose, Sr. and Edna Mae (Barnes) Rose. Olney served our country in the United States Army until he retired in 1973. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Morgan; granddaughter, Jennifer Morgan; sisters, Aileen Rose and Brenda Shepherd; and Junior Barnes, who was like a brother. In addition to his parents, Olney is preceded in death by his daughter, Deanna Nunn; sister, Phyllis Parker; and brothers, Shelly Rose, Boyd Rose, and R.L. Rose, Jr. Funeral Services will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 10:00 AM with Alex Courington officiating. Burial will follow at Haley's Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 AM prior to the service.
