Norma Jean Hurst

Norma Jean Hurst, age 75, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away on May 11, 2024, at Good Samaritans Society. Mrs. Hurst was born on February 17, 1949, in Putnam County, Tennessee, daughter of the late Miles A. Whitted and Leatrice (Crain) Whitted. Norma worked as a data entry operator for a title company. She is survived by her children, Tammy Gorman (Bill), Kim Herring, and Jason Whitson (Valorie); grandchildren, Trent Palmer (Meghan), Kaley Wilson (Matt), Dylan Palmer (Bri), Hogan Herring, Jordan Herring, Shania Povlock, and Christian Whitson; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Darlene Snoddy (Mark). In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Hurst. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Cumberland Fellowship Church.
