Norma Donohue

Norma Jean Donohue, age 94 of Fairfield Glade, TN, passed away peacefully on Sunday July 30, 2023, at Hospice of Cumberland County. Norma was born in Pontiac, Michigan on December 22, 1928, to the late Francis and Arlene Lanning. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Gilbert Schoonover and her sister Lorraine Jakobowski. She was a devoted mom and grandma who loved to cook, sew, and bake for her family and friends. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Fairfield Glade. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Patrick Donohue; children: Kay (Andrew) Younger, of Leesburg, FL, Mary Lou (Gary) Shifflet, of Howell, MI, Barbara Veneskey, of Parma, OH and Patrick Jr. (Karyn) Donohue of Waterford, MI, Seven Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at 10:00 AM. Interment and luncheon to follow service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church or Hospice of Cumberland County.
