Newton Snow, Jr.

Virgil "Newton" Snow, Jr., age 69, of Crossville, TN, passed away at his home on October 22, 2023. Mr. Snow was born on December 19, 1953, in Fayetteville, TN, son of the late Virgil Newton Snow, Sr. and Oma Lee (Marty) Snow. Newton worked as a Correctional Officer at BCCX and was a member of Crossville First Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Jane (Simmons) Snow; children, Shannon Snow, Holly Snow Eastwood (Craven), Rian Snow, Daniel Rickman, and Christa Patterson (David); grandchildren, Skyler Wells (Dawson), Sawyer Snow, Brenden Snow, Charlie Simmons, Lucas Simmons, Peyton Simmons, Riley Patterson, Ranger Patterson, Carson Patterson, Caleb Patterson, Joseph Patterson, and Annabelle Patterson; great grandchildren, Mason Wells, Haven Wells, and Hadley Wells; and sister, Jennifer Oakes (Darvin). In addition to his parents, Newton is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Lennox Eastwood; and brother, Hite Snow. Funeral Service will be held at Crossville First Freewill Baptist Church on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Simmons Cemetery in Bledsoe County.
