Mildred R. Cox

Mildred R. Cox, age 103, of Crossville, TN, passed away on October 8, 2023, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Cox was born on May 26, 1920, in Norwich, Connecticut, daughter of the late Harry E. Allen and Rosalie (Witchekoski) Allen. Mildred retired from Avery Dennison Corporation. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Reed Cox and his wife Connie; granddaughter, Bridgette Cox; grandson, Woody Cox and wife Kim; great grandchildren, Olivia Smith, Garrett Hepburn, Elizabeth Cox, Hannah Cox, and Abby Cox. In addition to her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow R. Cox, Sr., sisters, Henrietta Murphy and Rose Marie "Babe" Delmonte. Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Don Haston officiating. Burial will follow at Pomona Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service. Arrangements and Care provided by Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
