Michael Lenwood Holland

Michael Lenwood Holland, Sr., the son of Thelbert Holland, Sr. and Esther Moore Holland, was born on April 4, 1950, in Ypsilanti, MI. Peacefully departed this life on October 19, 2022. Both his parents, step-mom Helen, and step-brother Gregory preceded him in death. Michael was employed for many years as a computer analyst until he retired. Affectionately known as Farmer Mike, his favorite past time was working on his farm, growing organic vegetables and selling them at the local farmer’s market. Michael also enjoyed antiques and sitting around his family and friends laughing telling jokes and making chicken noodle soup. Michael dearly loved his family, especially his granddaughters. He is survived by his former wife, Julia, and their three children and two granddaughters. He lives to cherish his memory: his children, Erselena NiChole Holland, Michael L Holland II, and Michelle Arielle Holland; granddaughters Madison Holland-Davis and Victoria Holland-Davis; siblings; Thelbert (Diane) Holland, Bonita Foster; Shaun (Elizabeth), Midge Holland, one sister in law Brenda Renae McGlown, two brothers in law Tyrone McGlown and Gregory Troy (Janina) McGlown; a dear friend Phyllis Foster; his closest friend, Cleve Baber, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
