Mary Elizabeth Nelson

After a lengthy battle with cancer, on October 13, 2024, Mary Nelson went to her heavenly home. Mrs. Nelson was born on July 15, 1958, in Bedford, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Crab Orchard Christian Church and served many years as the Director of the Crab Orchard Care Center, which she enjoyed very much. Mary is survived by three children, Misty Moore (Donnie) of Ozone, TN, April Insco (Corbin) Of Crossville, TN, and Natasha Nelson of Crossville, TN; three grandchildren, Brandon Insco (Amanda) of Lenoir City, TN, Sara Moore (Carlos) of Knoxville, TN, and Derek Moore (Morgan) of Crab Orchard, TN; two brothers, Daniel Felix of Mechanicsburg, PA and Timothy Felix (Jody) of Manns Choice, PA; along with seven nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Nelson Sr.; her parents, George and Doris Felix; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Felix. A Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM followed by burial at Haleys Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
