Mary Deloros Harris (Dee)

Mary Deloros Harris (Dee), a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2024, at the age of 91. Born on August 31, 1933, in Speedwell, Tennessee, Dee spent her life devoted to her family and community in Crossville, Tennessee, where she resided until her passing. Dee was the cherished daughter of the late Millard John Rogers and Mayme Emily Rogers. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Phillip O'Neal Harris, and her dear daughters, Jane O'Neal Harris Barker and Nancy Sue Harris Palmore. Her compassionate spirit and dedication to caring for others were reflected in her profession as a registered nurse, where she touched numerous lives with her kindness and skill. Special thanks to the nursing staff at Cumberland Medical Center, where she practiced her profession for many years. She leaves behind a legacy of love and family, survived by her devoted children, Phillip Anthony Harris and his wife Elaine, Emily Louise Harris McCawley and her husband John, and Jennifer Hope Harris Hicks and her husband Mike. Dee was also a proud grandmother to six grandchildren and a delighted great-grandmother to ten great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. Dee cherished her friendships deeply, including her special bonds with Billie Springer and Loretta Gibbons, who remained steadfast companions throughout her journey. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, and she will be profoundly missed by all.
