Linda Sue Samson

Linda Sue Samson, age 72, of Crossville, TN, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at Cumberland Medical Center. Mrs. Samson was born on October 8, 1949, in Jasper, TN, daughter of Spurgeon Gibson and Hazel Grimes Gibson. Mrs. Linda never met a stranger. If you knew her you loved her. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved to read and was an amazing cook. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her son - Mark Poe and wife Amanda; Grandchildren - Jasmine Poe, Brooklyn Poe, and Mason Poe; and Sister - Wilma Bilbrey along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Poe is preceded in death by her first husband, James Poe; her second husband, Roy Samson; Brothers and Sister, Freddie Joe Gibson, James (Pete) Gibson, Patsy Gibson Braziel. Graveside Service will be held at Crossville City Cemetery on Thursday, January 6th, 2022, at 1:00 PM.
