Linda Smith

Linda Smith, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18th, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on August 3rd, 1945, in Crossville, Tennessee. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Alec Smith, and her children: Gary Smith (Missy), and Marsha Young. She was the proud grandmother to Amanda Emison (David), and Jay Young (Lori). Her joy multiplied through her great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Michael, Gauge, Landen, and Tristan. Also, her great-great-grandchildren, Killian and Dani. They all brought her immense happiness. Linda’s life was rooted in her family's love, and she found fulfillment in her work as a dedicated factory worker at Roselon Southern Inc. and as a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Lula Padgett, and her son-in-law, Jerry Young. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville, TN. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow at Green Acres Memory Gardens. Linda Smith’s legacy of love, strength, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
