Mrs. Gay was born on March 19, 1957, in Bainbridge, Georgia, daughter of Earnest McDowell and Ora (Cranford) McDowell. Laura worked as an Office Manager and was of the Christian faith. She is survived by her husband, Robert Gay; son, Bryan Enderle (Debbie); grandson, Gavin Enderle; sisters, Susan Bennett and Dell Sullivan.
