Karen D. Shipman

Karen Darleen (Kontour) Shipman, age 80, of Crossville, TN, passed away on August 18, 2022, at WyndRidge. Mrs. Shipman was born on June 5, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late John A. Kontour and Delcie (Owens) Kontour. Karen was a secretary at Ford Motor Company and was a member of the Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Roger Shipman; son, Jerry Allen Shipman; and daughter, Janell Lynn (Shipman) Nunn. In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Kontour; and sister, Helen (Kontour) Watson. There are no services scheduled at this time.
