Judith Ann Hankins, age 79, of Crossville, TN, went peacefully to be with her Lord on October 7, 2022. Mrs. Hankins was born on September 4, 1943, in Chesapeake, WV, daughter of the late Joseph Edward Carrico and Willa Pearl (Green) Carrico. While a teenager, Judith moved with her family to Oberlin, OH. It was in Oberlin that she met her husband, Virgil Eugene Hankins. They lived in Oberlin until 1986 when they relocated to Chesapeake, VA. Here she worked as a Yearbook Reorder Specialist for Lifetouch Photography. In 2005, she retired and moved with her husband to Crossville, TN. Together they enjoyed the beauty of Tennessee by camping and riding ATVs. Judith was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She is survived by her husband, Virgil Eugene Hankins; son, David Hankins (Shari); daughters, Deanna Allen (Doug) and Michelle Etheridge (Roy); grandchildren, Brenton (Rachel), Megan, Matthew, Reina Done (Kory), Juan, Jiovani, Jonas, Jacob, Brogan, Bram, and Alex; brother, Bill Carrico. In addition to her parents, Judith is preceded in death by her brothers, Joe Carrico and Roger Carrico. Funeral Services will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 1:00 PM with Pastor Tony Chesson officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
