Johnny "John" Andrew Wyatt

John Andrew Wyatt, 80, of Crossville, TN, passed away on March 20, 2024. He was born on January 26, 1944, in Crossville, TN. John was a devoted Christian who loved teaching others about the love of Jesus Christ. He was an Army Veteran and a stone mason who worked with his brothers for many years. Later, he became a cook and a prison stone mason educator at Bledsoe Correction Facility. He was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist as well as Pine Eden Baptist Church and taught Sunday School at Pine Eden for many years. John’s passion for fishing was well-known, and he could spend every waking moment enjoying this hobby. John is survived by his brother Glenn (Jane) Wyatt, sister Martha Robinson, brother Richard “Dickie Joe” (Karen) Wyatt, many nieces and nephews as well as his sons Matthew (Kelly) Wyatt and John Stephen (Ginger) Wyatt and grandchildren Lexi and Camden King. He was preceded in death by his soul mate and beloved wife, Shirley Wyatt, parents Andrew and Bertha Wyatt, brothers Elbert Ray and James Wyatt, sisters Betty Robinson, Karen Wyatt and Deborah Wyatt. Visitation will be held from 3pm-5pm on Monday, March 25 with Memorial Service immediately following at Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville, TN. There will be no graveside services. John will be remembered for his faith, dedication to his work and family and love for fishing. He will be missed by all.
