John Patton Ramey

Funeral Service for John Patton Ramey, age 79, of Crossville, TN, who passed away on October 25, 2022 will be held in the Chapel at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Green Acres Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Mr. Ramey was born on April 23, 1943, in Lynch, Kentucky, son of the late Ted Ramey and Gypsie (Chaney) Ramey. John worked as a Parts Clerk at Flowers Bakery. He served in the United States Navy and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Arga Faye Ramey; daughters, Angela McNeil (Brad), Tonya Bergeron (Robert), Kimberly Robinson (David), and Brittany Beaty; sons, John Ramey (Kristie) and Bevy Reed Brendel (Allison); daughter-in-law, Jean Brendel; sister, Gayle Ramey Wells (Richard); brothers, Jess Ramey (Phyllis) and Teddy Ramey; several grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom are so special. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his son, Delmus Lee Brendel, grandson, Leland Noel McNeil, sisters, Jeanette Hudson, Lillian Goodwin, and Geneva Padgett; brothers, William Jennings Ramey and James Teldon Ramey.
