Jessie Willie Sherrill

Jessie Willie Sherrill, age 75, of Crossville, TN, passed away on December 16, 2024. Jessie was born on March 11, 1949, in Elyria, Ohio, son of Litton Sherrill and Jewel (Davenport) Sherrill. Jessie was a member of the United States Marine Corps, served in Vietnam, and worked on, in, and around cars all of his adult life. Jessie worked many years at Shadden Tire and East Tennessee Dodge. Jessie was well liked by every one who met him. He was an avid golfer, loved country music, was an expert ping pong player, and loved beating everyone playing Scrabble. During Jessie’s USMC days he enjoyed boxing, and he also had a very successful high school football career. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Michael) Brown and son, Thomas (Danielle) Sherrill. Jessie leaves behind 6 beloved grandchildren; Matthew, Max, & Mason and Eva, Kathryn, & Emmett. Jessie was preceded in death by wife Jennie (Crawford) Sherrill. In addition, he was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Eva (Sherrill) Nehring, brother: Fred Sherrill, and brother: Steve Sherrill. No services are scheduled at this time.
