Jerry Young

Jerry Dewayne Young, age 56, of Crossville, TN, passed away unexpectedly due to cancer on February 16, 2022. He was a loving husband of 37 years to his wife Marsha Young; father to daughter Amanda Young Emison (David) and son/best friend, Jay Young (Lori); and Grandpa (Paw Paw) to Kaylee Emison, Michael Young, Gauge Emison, and Landen Young. He was a man of choice words and loved building hot rods. He will be missed by many and forgotten by none. If you were ever in contact with him, you will have memories that will last a lifetime. Other survivors include brother Randy Young (Linda); sister Diann Monday; in-laws Alec and Linda Smith; several nieces and nephews; and a life-long neighbor, Bruce Davenport. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Carolyn Carter Young and Sister Tammy Kennedy. Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow the service at Green Acres Memory Gardens Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Bilbrey Funeral Home Arrangements and Care provided by Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
