Jerry William Welch

Jerry William Welch, age 79, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away at his home on July 16, 2023. Mr. Welch was born on November 26, 1943, in Crossville, TN, son of the late Grady Curtis Welch and Lois Duvall Muesing. Jerry was a Civil Engineer for the state of Tennessee. He attended Pine Eden Baptist Church. He is survived by his children, Jeanie Morgan (Gerald) and Jeff Welch (Regina); grandchildren, Kristen Morgan, Daniel Morgan, Jonathan Rector, and Sarah Henley; great grandchildren, Asher Morgan, Mila Morgan, Anderson Hockaday, Jude Hockaday, and Ryan Rector; and siblings, Ernie Welch and Virginia Hendrix. In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Jean Welch; grandson, Jason Morgan; and siblings, Gaines Welch, Sam Welch, Sheila Brimm, Jim Welch, and Grady Welch. Graveside and Memorial Services for Jerry William Welch, age 79, who passed away on July 16, 2023, will be held at Woody Cemetery on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 11:00 AM. At Jerry’s request, his wife Dorothy Jean Welch, who passed away September 4, 2021, and was cremated, will be laid to rest with him.
