Harold David Reaves

Harold David Reaves, 74 of Fairfield Glade, TN, passed away December 2, 2024, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Harold (Dave) was preceded in death by his parents Frank I. and Mary Z. Reaves. He is survived by Linda Surber Reaves, his wife of 46 years, sister Carol Ann (David) Kathary, his nephews Benjamin (Kristen), Reaves, Scott (Lauren), and Michael, as well as great nephews Xander, and Johnathan and great niece Lana Ann Kathary; his sisters-in-law Debbie (Juan) Andrade, Laura Wilcut and LouAnn Surber. Harold graduated from Pompano Beach Senior High School Class of 1968. Harold worked for IBM before serving in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and Germany. He returned to IBM where he held several programming and management positions. Retiring after 29 years of dedicated service. Harold was an avid Ham Radio enthusiast, building his first system in High School. He did volunteer work for the Fairfield Glade Police and Fire Departments. He was actively involved and served on the Board of Deerfield Beach Florida VFW and American Legion. Harold was also a member of the Moose in both Crossville, TN and Okeechobee, FL. A celebration of life will be held in the spring at the Reaves home in Fairfield Glade, and a full military funeral will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth FL later in the spring. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Harold may be offered to the charity of your choice.
