Gloria Jandovitz, age 94, of Fairfield Glade, TN, passed into her Savior’s arms on June 3, 2022. Gloria was born on August 25, 1927, in New York, New York. She was the daughter of the late Paul D’Amico and Mary (Martin) D’Amico. She married John Jandovitz on April 17, 1947, in New York city. Gloria was a homemaker who placed her family at the center of everything. Gloria was very creative and had a wide variety of interests. She enjoyed painting, knitting (in particular knitting caps for veterans), collecting Hummels, reading books and making all things special. She was active in numerous organizations, including the Italian Community Center. She was a good sport who was usually up for anything, and engaged in game playing of all types, including golf, clogging, board games and all kinds of card games, especially bridge. Having raised many University of Wisconsin alums, Gloria was an avid Badgers fan, and watched as many Badger football and basketball games as she could. Gloria was a bright spirit with a quick laugh and a keen sense of humor. She was a woman of faith, and longtime member of the Catholic church. Gloria is survived by: her children Jeri Ann Jandovitz, John Jandovitz Jr. (Kathy), James Jandovitz, Judith Kappes (Kyle) and Janel Lemanske; by her grandchildren Jaimie Jandovitz, Jessie Jandovitz, John Jandovitz (Amanda), Kayla Lemanske, Danny Lemanske, Keaten Kappes, Kelcie Kappes, Kendra Kappes and Kyler Kappes; and by her great-grandchild Marjorie Jandovitz. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: her husband, John Stephen Jandovitz Sr.; her brother Victor D’Amico; and her son-in-law James Lemanske. Funeral services will be held on June 23rd, at 10am, at St. Francis of Assisi in Fairfield Glade, TN.
