Glenna Rose Brown

Glenna Rose Brown, age 85, of Sparta, TN, passed away at her home on October 20, 2022. Mrs. Brown was born on March 15, 1937, in Crossville, TN, daughter of the late George Hoyd Marsh and Mary Daisy (Brown) Marsh. Glenna worked as a Spooler for the Roselawn Factory and was of the Christian faith. She is survived by daughters, Glenna Dodson, Tina Cordell (Jimmy Walker), Margaret Davis (James), and Christine Lawson (Robert); sons, Thomas Coon (Vickie) and Glenn Coon (Carla); sons in law, Brian Young and Lee Cordell; brothers, Albert Marsh, J.T. Marsh, Jody Marshall, and Darrel Marsh; sisters, Faye Lewis, Shirley Jones, Mabel Ashburn, Janie Honeycutt, and Jewell Kilby; 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 5 great, great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Glenna is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Benton Brown; daughter, Vernetta Lewis; grandson, Michael Coon; granddaughter, Susan Jordan; great grandson, Tristan Yearwood; brothers, Ray Marsh, Robert Marsh, Stanton Marsh, Delbert Marsh, and Sam Marsh; sisters, Naomi Marsh, Maggie Lewis, Muriel Rector, and Katie Rector. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Browntown Cemetery. Arrangements and Care provided by Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
