Eugene Peter Schmitt

Eugene Peter Schmitt, age 88, of Fairfield Glade, TN, passed away on January 23, 2022, at Parkwest Medical Center. He was born on March 6, 1933, in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, son of the late Sylvester Schmitt and Genevieve (Emond) Schmitt. Eugene served our country in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. In addition, he was a Manufacturing Supervisor. Eugene is survived by his Wife- Marilyn (Koska) Schmitt; and Sister- Helen Pischner. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Brothers- Gregory Schmitt and Philip Schmitt; and Sisters- Julie Czerwinski, Catherine Love, and Margaret Clifford. To honor Mr. Schmitt's wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements and Care provided by Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
