Emma Lou Lowe

Emma Lou Lowe, age 85, of Crossville, TN, passed away at Uplands Village on October 21, 2023. Ms. Lowe was born on December 28, 1937, in Maryville, TN, daughter of the late Stitsell Major Oakes and Lois E. (Greene) Oakes. Emma was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and a friend to all that knew and loved her. She worked hard her whole life and was proud to be a waitress and enjoyed all the people she met along the way. She retired from the Cumberland Mountain State Park after 20+ years of service and she only wished she could have worked longer. She loved canning, cooking, and baking for the people she loved. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Lynn Lowe; son, Kenneth Wayne Lowe (Cindy); grandchildren, Jesse Lowe, Kealey Lowe, and Lecherisha Uribe. In addition to her parents, Emma is preceded in death by her son, Rex Lowe. A Memorial Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 3:00 PM.
