Elmer Lee Davis

Elmer Davis, age 74, of Crossville, TN, passed away at his home on May 6, 2022. He was born on June 1, 1947, in Crossville, TN, to the late John L. and Juanita M. Davis. Mr. Davis proudly served in the United States Army holding the rank of SPEC 5 during the Vietnam War and as a Helicopter Crew Chief on his unit. In addition, he worked and retired as a Correctional Officer for the State of Tennessee. He was a member of Stevens Gap Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife - Ann Davis; Sons - Buddy Davis (Ginger), John Davis; Daughter - April Castner (Scott); 12 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren and 1 on the way; Sisters - Peggy Davis and Penny Smith; and Several nieces and nephews . In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister - Sherry Davis and an infant brother. Funeral Service will be held at Stevens Gap Church of Christ on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Music Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
