Ellen Veronica Vickers

Ellen Veronica Vickers, age 82, of Crossville, TN, passed away on December 6, 2021, at Cumberland Medical Center. She was born on April 4th, 1939, in Trenton, NJ, daughter of the late James Flynn and Sarah Flynn. Ellen was a lifelong stay at home Mom and loved every minute of it. She raised all of her kids and the neighborhood kids. Everyone knew as long as she was around, they would always have a place to call home. She was selfless and did not know a stranger. Her stories were larger than life and she loved to share them with anyone that would listen. She always enjoyed traveling the country with her husband but cook outs in the backyard with her family was her favorite past time. She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Flynn of Manahawkin, Nj; Brothers, Gene Flynn of Hamilton, NJ and Jerry Flynn of Hamilton, NJ; sons, Paul Vickers (Shannon) of Crossville, TN, James Vickers of Port Richey, FL, Joey Vickers (Cindy) of Croydon, PA; daughters, Debbie Kolp of Crossville, TN, Mary Brenner (Mike) of Arvada, CO, Barbara Benninghoff (Ed) of Lacey, NJ, Sarah Perez (Paul) of Bensalem, PA; grandchildren, Christopher Neutzman, Damian Vickers, Michael Brenner, Raymond Neutzman, Rosemarie Defrance, Richard Wilson, Paul Vickers, Kerilynn Benninghoff, Cameron Perez, Thomas Vickers, Tesha Hall, Makayla Vickers, and Taylor Vickers; great grandchildren, Anthony Neutzman, Ireland Vickers, Aubrey Vickers, Abigail Wright, Brayden Adams, Aiden Wright, Chase Adams, Kayla Vickers, Kaylie Wilson, Lukas Wilson, Chloe Bentley, Rodrick Bentley, Casey Jayne Hall and Emma Brenner. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Taylor Vickers; son, Thomas Vickers; daughter, Nancy Vickers; and grandchildren, grandsons, Steven Vickers and Billy Wilson. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Bilbrey Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the service.
