Donald Ralph Edwards

Donald Ralph Edwards, 74, of Crossville, TN passed away Friday, January 17, 2025.

He was born in Fargo, North Dakota, the son of Robert and Lucille (Allsbrow) Edwards.

He served in the United States Air Force from Apr 1969 to Feb 1973 at Finley AFS, ND and Peterson Field, Colorado Springs, CO and separated as a SSGT.

He and his wife (Kathleen) and daughter (Stephanie) moved to Davenport, IA to join his family and where he was hired by American Honda Motor Company in Rock Island, IL.

His son Daniel Jacob was born in Nov 1974.

He completed his Bachelor's Degree in Business at St Ambrose University in 1985, joking that he needed to finish after Stephanie told him at the rate he was going, she was going to graduate before he did.

He retired from American Honda in 2012 after a career that included warehousing management and implementing new warehouse software across the United States.

After retirement he found deep satisfaction in volunteering with Operation Barbecue Relief (OBR) deploying most recently to NC after Hurricane Helene.

Preceding him in death are his parents, younger brother Douglas Edwards, and nephew Eric Christopher Edwards.

He is survived by his younger brother Dr. William Edwards (Kathlene), sister-in-law Mary Butigan, half-siblings John Korey and Tricia Patterson (Douglas), ex-wife Kathleen Lansford, children Stephanie and Daniel, and nieces and nephews.

At his request, no services will be held. Care and arrangements handled by Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
