Dollie Mae (Winningham) Orme

Dollie Mae Orme, age 90, of Crossville, Tn, passed away on August 2, 2022, at Cumberland Medical Center. She was born on May 4, 1932, in Crossville, TN, daughter of the late Porter Valentine Winningham and Addie Mae (Garrett) Winningham. Dollie was a housewife and of the Baptist Faith. She loved her God, her husband, and her children. She was an avid gardener and loved flowers. One of her greatest pastimes was crocheting. She worked for many years at Cumberland Medical Center, Piggly Wiggly, and eventually retired from KFC after many years where she was dearly loved by all the staff. She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Orme; daughter, Lietta Orme Erickson; sons, Robert Ord Orme and Vernon Lynn Orme; and 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Dollie is preceded in death by her son, Nick Orme; and siblings, Carmon Winningham, Theron Winningham, Arlie Winningham, Ord Winningham, Buster Winningham, Earl Winningham, Carl Winningham, Odessa Kaso, Ordean Lee, Inez Tilley, Tishie Ann Sullivan, and Della Neal. Funeral Services will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 3:00 PM with Pastor Vern Daugherty officiating. Burial will follow at Big Lick Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 prior to the service.
