Derothia Asberry

Derothia Asberry, age 85, of Crossville, TN, passed away on October 27, 2022, at her home. She was born on March 26, 1937, in Erwin, TN, daughter of the late Samuel Harris and Bessie Jane (Gillis) Harris. Derothia worked in a textile sewing factory and was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Inman (Jim); sons, Michael Asberry (Donna) and Charles Asberry (Jenny); 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 2 great great granchildren; brothers, Walter Harris and David Harris. In addition to her parents, Derothia is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Asberry; brothers, Jessie Harris, Isaac Harris, and Willard Harris; and sisters, Rozena Hoyle, Macie Adkins, and Lois Angel. Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at 3:00 PM with Bro. Mike McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Crossville City Cemetery.
