Danny Joe Dixon

Danny Joe Dixon, age 83, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away at his home on December 8, 2023. Mr. Dixon was born on January 14, 1940, in Crossville, Tennessee, son of the late Benton M. Dixon and Rosella (Lewis) Dixon. Danny worked at Manchester Tank and was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. He loved his family and enjoyed hunting, gardening, and traveling. He is survived by his wife, Mosetta (Tollett) Dixon; sons, Vernon Dixon, Jimmy Dixon, and Daniel Dixon (Michelle); daughters, Diana Perez (Isiaah) and Casandra Dixon; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great, great grandchildren; brother, Luther Dixon. In addition to his parents, Danny is preceded in death by his son, Mark Douglas Dixon; grandson, Jessie Joel Dixon; brothers, Arthur Dixon, B.H. Dixon, Harold Dixon, and Jimmy Dixon; sisters, Agnes Hawkins, Bessie Dixon, Cleo Lillie, Elsie Pack, and Sally Airington. Funeral Services will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 2:00 PM with burial to follow at Fredonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
