Dannie Joe Cox

Dannie Joe Cox, age 60, of Crab Orchard, Tennessee, passed away at his home on January 6, 2023. Mr. Cox was born on May 28, 1962, in Crossville, Tennessee, son of the late Lige Cox and Christine (Godsey) Cox. Dannie worked at Waldo Stone for many years and was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his daughters, Danielle Grimme and Christy Cox; sister, Midge Rymer (Mark); brothers, Eddie Cox (Brenda) and Steve Cox (Jenelle); grandchildren, Skyler Quatman, Destinee Quatman, Brandon Sadula, Jasmine Quatman, Alexis Cox, Alissa Quatman, Kyra Dodson, Amyra Dodson; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Frank Cox. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Cox Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Bilbrey Funeral Home from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service.
