Clarence Odean Lawson, age 92, of Evensville, TN, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. Mr. Lawson was born on June 12, 1931, in Madisonville, TN, son of the late James Everett Lawson and Gladys Zeulah (Stapp) Lawson. Clarence served our country in the United States Army and was a bridge Superintendent in Construction. He was a member of Rockwood Church of God of Prophecy. He is survived by his wife, Margie Lawson; children, Patricia Gross (Roger), Karen Korbe (Russell), Carol Locke (Steve), Amy Doyle, Tammy Kane (Kevin), Jennifer Johnson, Tim Davis, and Becky Henderson (Winford); 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and brother, Dwight Lawson (Marlene). In addition to his parents, Clarence is preceded in death by his first wife, Anita Ruth (Baker) Lawson; children, Clarence Odean Lawson, Jr., Linda Armstrong (Scot), grandchild, John William Gross; siblings, Wanda Lawson Bivens, Bobbie Lawson Barnwell, Dexter Lawson, and Shelby Lawson Brewer; and daughter-in-law, Kathy Davis. Funeral Service will be held at Pine Grove Church of God of Prophecy in Crossville, Tennessee on Saturday, February 3, 2024. 10:00 AM (CST) with burial to follow at Green Acres Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville, Tennessee on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM (CST).
