Charles Morris Douglas

Charles Morris Douglas, age 99, of Crossville, TN, passed away at Cumberland House on Friday, January 12, 2024. Mr. Douglas was born on June 9, 1924, in Columbia, TN, son of the late John Douglas and Emma (Scott) Douglas Shepherd. Charles was a machinist for Martin Marietta. He is survived by his wife, Ruth T. Douglas; son, William Douglas (Pam); grandchildren, Scott Douglas, and Melissa Chittum; great grandchildren, Steven Douglas, Austin Yearwood, and Ashley Yearwood; nephew, David Matlock; niece, Donna Leal; and close family friend, Valorie Douglas. In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his brother, John Douglas; and sisters, Billie McDonald and Geraldine Matlock. Funeral Services will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at 3:00 PM followed by burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
